Company History
Center Line Estimating was started in 1999 to fill the need for companies that were over loaded with work and short on estimators. A critical part of the estimating process is ensuring that we are given accurate quantities so that we can calculate an accurate estimate. We work with our clients to ensure that we are using reliable data to calculate their estimates.
Center Line Estimating is a team of Pre-Construction estimating and scheduling professionals who excel in creating, organizing, and formatting your estimates and schedule into the requirements of your needs. Our Team is dedicated to giving our clients truly workable estimates and schedules based upon the unique requirements and needs of their firm. Philip Light, President
Phil Light has over 35 years in management, administration and estimating. He has a strong background in cost control and estimating on multi-million dollar projects. He offers a broad knowledge of estimating and construction experience with proven successful fast track project management skills. His knowledge and extensive experience has fostered solid subcontractor relationships ensuring the most cost effective price for our clients. He also has extensive experience in appearing before local and state governmental authorities on zoning, engineering and planning details.

Tom Bandy, Principal
Tom Bandy, Principal, is a construction estimating and scheduling professional, holds an undergraduate degree from the College of Engineering at Utah State University and a MS degree from Colorado State University. In addition he has been a the president of a general construction company, a construction estimating consultant, and chief estimator for several companies through out the world. He has been involved in the day to day management of projects from the estimating/scheduling phases through out the total construction process. Tom, as a senior/chief estimator has estimated, scheduled, and planned hundreds of commercial, multi-family, and residential projects.

Dan Atcheson (Dr. Dirt), Associate
Dan brings over 28 years of construction cost estimating experience to Center Line Estimating & Consulting Services. He has been on the engineering faculty of Texas Tech University teaching Construction Cost Estimating 1 and 2, as well as a management and production rates of heavy equipment. He is a published author of four cost estimating books: Estimating Earthwork Quantities, Earthmoving Equipment Production Rates and Cost, Estimating Framing Quantities, and Roofing. He is about to publish a new book for Craftsman Publishing on Concrete Estimating.
Phillip Arnt
With almost two decades experience in the construction software industry wearing various hats such as technical writer, integration specialist, software trainer, BIM manager, systems administrator and support services manager, Phillip Arnt has consulted with thousands of construction company professionals worldwide. He holds an Associates degree in Information Systems Management and has several decades of business management background and experience. Phillip has a common sense through experience approach to purchasing, implementation and integration of software technologies that are current in today's market. By using new technologies that are user friendly and affordable, he is able to increase efficiencies and decrease costs for construction companies to be competitive in today's marketplace.
